P&O have just published their itineraries and prices for the summer 2015 & winter 2015/16 seasons. I haven’t had time to do any detailed analysis but the following points leap out:-

  • As widely expected, Oceana will be doing the Mediterranean fly-cruise program;
  • The overall structure of the Med fly-cruises will be the same in 2015 as this year, except that it looks like departure day will be Tuesday instead of Wednesday and they will call at Monte Carlo instead of Ajaccio just before the return to Genoa. The cruises will be available in the same pattern as this year – 14 nights round trip from either Genoa or Venice, or 7 nights – either Genoa to Venice or Venice to Genoa;
  • Prices for all cruises seem a little lower than when this years cruises were announced;
  • And a point of really picky detail – the breakdown of cabins is back to multiple grades, e.g. there are now 4 or 5 grades of balcony cabin on each deck instead of just 2 as at present.

I hope to examine the itineraries in more detail later.

    Really disappointed P&O are showing a south east bias by adding a £100pp supplement on all Caribbean fly cruises from Manchester and Birmingham for the 2015-16 season on all Azura & Britannia cruises and most Adonia cruises don’t even fly from Manchester !! Most of the UK population DON’T live in the SE of England.

    And the Oceana Fly Med cruises have a £50 supplement for all non-LGW flights next summer as well.
