Apparently (according to comments on other blogs and news articles) Britannia has had a record-breaking first booking day – even better than the last successful ‘new big ship’ day for Ventura, back in 2007. And all this despite a series of big problems with the online IT systems. So well done P&O and well done the Britannia marketing team – there’ll be a lot of relieved people this weekend.
And I’m also happy, in a roundabout, slightly selfish way. The greater the interest in Britannia, the more likely it is that we’ll get exactly what we want on Azura when those bookings open on 10 April!
